Find the Middle it is Marked with a Tag and put right under your chest! Now bring each side over your shoulder so it make a big X on your back! Now bring them back around to your back and either tie them or if you have enough to bring back around to the front to tie! |
Bring Each side around to the back and Criss Cross them!
|
Now you can put your baby in it!
Start with the side of the wrap that is the closes to you (in this picture it would be my Left side!)
Putting on the Wrap!
First find the middle of the wrap (it is marked with a tag) and put it over your tummy, then take each side and bring it around to your back and criss cross, then follow the fabric with your fingers as far as you can reach! So that it will be straight on each side of your wrap! then bring over each of your shoulders! Make sure that it is not really tight over your tummy so you baby can fit in the wrap! Now take both sides and put through/under the fabric over your tummy! And then criss cross and take each side and bring around to your back and tie! (if you have more fabric then bring back around to the front and tie) Make sure that the back part is straight and spread out! It will make it a lot more comfortable that way!
Ways you can wear the wrap! (first 3 ways you wrap the same)
Nursing/young baby....
Lay the baby sideways like to nurse, than put the baby feet or head in
the side of the baby wrap that is closest to you first
and then do the same on the other side!
The baby wrap is good for nursing and still be covered up!
(there is a video below that shows how to nurse a little easier in the wrap
by putting the baby in the wrap before it is all wrapped!
I do like that way better, but you might sit down doing that one at first!
The way shown in the video lets you nurse without working around the side fabrics!)
Baby Facing in.....
Put your baby's foot through the side that is closest to you first
and then the other foot through the other side! Pull each side of the wrap over
their butt and back, and then their arm through each side of the wrap too!
Then take the part of the wrap that has the tag on it and pull it over their whole body
(but for their head and feet if they are not NB)
If your baby starts to fall asleep you can tuck their head in
one side of the wrap to hold it close to you!
Baby Facing out.....
You just have to turn your baby facing out and put them in the same way as facing in! Put the baby's Foot in the closest side to you!
As they get older you can put them on
your hip & back!
